Going to the State Fair today with a couple fabulous friends...the bunnies are my favorite part! These bunnies actually look like the bunnies running around my house all the time. Sometimes they play leapfrog. I think I live in fantasyland :)

quiet day.

Craig is gone...the cat is sleeping...and I'm going to make some sugar cookies! I have had that craving to make homemade sugar cookies for awhile. Maybe we will do something like this for my sister's wedding. I know its done a lot...but who doesn't love a cookie?!!?

Oh...and for those of you that don't know...I have a little collection of cookie cutters and I want to keep it growing. So if you find a place that has fabulous cutters, let me know :)

super trucker.

YAY! I finally got to tag along with Craig to haul logs. His mom and dad in one truck, me and him in the other. We drove out to Lobster Valley....BEAUTIFUL, but pretty out there...I don't know how people live that far from shopping! Here he is driving no. 18...

and here he is "tightening down." I've got to say, this was enjoyable to watch :) I am so proud of this man and how hard he works.

We are done with the summer events at the good ole BGCofA!! We can breath for like a whole week now!! YAY! You girls (and guys) rock it!

Yes...its just hours away. I know its not old, just a milestone and making me think that I need to get movin' to make sure I accomplish what I hope. I think I will create a list of dreams, acheivements and goals for my next 30 years (to quote Mr. Tim McGraw).

Miss Crystal

I'd like to introduce you all to Crystal...its tradition around the ranch to name kitties after stripper names (no offense to any Crystals, Candis or Foxys out there). She keeps me company after Craig leaves super duper early in the morning for work. She's fabulous...and fabulously spoiled!

I am so looking forward to tomorrow...sleep in, bum around, catch up on laundry and hang out with my sis. I love days like this, not hurried. I haven't had one of those in awhile. So, if you need me I will be by the pool...okay, so there is no palm trees, but in my mind there is :)

Letters

I love letters, words, quotes and I love to decorate with them. I remember my typography class in college and it was absolutely one of the best courses I ever took. I am looking for vintage letters, specifically J's & C's...yes, cheesy I know :) Keep 'yer eyes peeled :)
